Seems that the Unions have 'cleared the deck for Jerry Brown'

The exit of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome from the Democrats gubernatorial race has readied the liberal voters of the state to christen their man, California’s modern-day Manchurian Candidate, Attorney General Jerry Brown.

While the media wrestles with Newsome’s ineptitude, nobody is paying attention to Mr. Brown’s walk down east street toward the general election in 2010 – a “cake walk” for Mr. Brown, as he collects millions of campaign dollars to face the eventual wealthy, self-funded candidates from the Republican Party.

Tell me, how is it possible that California Democrats currently don’t have an official candidate in the race? And why are we not seeing someone jump in ahead of the eventually primary winner Brown?

Read how the Public Employee Unions, as well as Labor Unions, have paid to remove the California Democrat Party and any possible foes for Jerry Brown's return to the Governor' Mansion at "Jerry Brown, The Manchurian Candidate" right now.

With most of the state beginning to focus on their favorite candidate for the Primary Election coming next June, nobody is paying any attention to the selection of fourteen regular citizens who will become “Rock Stars” come February 2010.

Next year fourteen citizens will be known as the “Citizens Redistricting Commission” for California’s future; regular people who will be selected from thousands of applicants between December 15, 2009 and February 15, 2010 put in charge of coloring the Golden State’s future.

These 14 citizens will have tremendous power to adjust the path of politics for California; or they could destroy it further.

And we want to hand over Health Care to the Government!

Ever wonder how much of our tax dollars goes to waste? Here is the top 50 report put out by the Heritage Foundation. Some facts from Brian Riedl; just cruise the list and hang onto your wallet!

My vote for the worst are numbers 8, 9, 11, 21,and 22.

Numbers 23, 29 and 41 should frost you too...soaring government spending and trillion-dollar budget deficits have brought fiscal responsibility – and reducing government waste – back onto the national agenda.

President Obama recently identified 0.004 of 1 percent of the federal budget as wasteful and proposed eliminating this $140 million from his $3.6 trillion fiscal year 2010 budget request. Aiming higher, the President recently proposed partially offsetting a costly new government health entitlement by reducing $622 billion in Medicare and Medicaid “waste and inefficiencies” over the next decade. Taxpayers may wonder why reducing such waste is now merely a bargaining chip for new spending rather than an end in itself.

Would a California Republican candidate for Governor agree with making marijuana legal for the purpose of 'tax revenue' and budgetary savings?

For a politician who supports government funded abortion and same-sex marriage – referencing his strict libertarian perspective – is it a stretch to believe that Tom Campbell might adopt the same perspective about weed?

Would ’Governor’ Tom Campbell mean the eventual legalization of marijuana for California?

Could Campbell, an early supporter of medicinal marijuana, agree to the alleged revenue stream that would come from the state’s new smoke-commodity?

It sure would play much better than a statewide 32-cent a gallon gas tax.

Does Tom Campbell win because of experience alone?

The only Republican who has placed his fingerprints on a recent state budget is Campbell. A former South Bay congressman, handled the California budget from 2004 to 2005, was the last state finance director to preside over a balanced budget.

I believe it is his experienced background that has him polling right behind Meg Whitman, and ahead of Steve Poizner at the present. As early campaigns go, Campbell owns the ‘experienced choice’. He displays character, has a engaging, classy personality and outdistances anyone in the room as it relates to budget intelligence.

But the glaring weakness for Tom Campbell are his egregious violations on social issues and an occassion fiscal walk off of the conservative spread sheet.

Sitting with Tom Campbell and listening to him describe the state’s fiscal hell is comparable to a well-tuned symphony. He is hands-down intelligent, articulate and bright. He knows where the bodies are buried, and he knows what he is talking about.

Has Meg Whitman encouraged tax evasion during her 10-year stint as CEO of the Internet auction house eBay?

New reports, charges, are suggesting that there may be such a concern for eMeg and her claim to be qualified to be the next governor of California.

So, is former CEO of eBay guilty of tax evasion for not making sure individual responsibility is followed through on by each transaction within the eBay arena?

Elias references a ‘reader’ who delivered some a ‘list of more than 200 California-based eBay sellers’ the reader said he has personally patronized without being asked for a penny in sales tax. Elias says that a ‘random check of sellers’ on the list proved that claim correct.

So a reader and an eBay list has Meg cornered; is this a growing problem for Meg Whitman?

Maybe it was Obama’s taking the time to make appearances on numerous talk shows or perhaps it was him going to Denmark to advocate for Chicago to host the Olympics, but when I saw Obama do a commercial for the George Lopez Show I seriously began to question the motivations of our president.

Having worked in advertising and studied the impact of celebrity endorsements, I have a unique understanding of the star power of someone like Obama. However, that may be the answer to what is concerning me so much – Star Power. Obama has clearly embraced this celebrity status, but is this really what we want in our a president? It is a vicious cycle of the media lauding every move he makes and Obama playing into with his Hollywood appearances and it does not seem like there is any end in sight.

The private sector is facing a very bad economy that has dropped the real wages to a 20-year low. The average weekly private sector wages have fallen 1.4% throughout the country for 2009.

In Colorado, the minimum wage as been reduced for the first time since in the inception of the minimum wage in 1938.

Millions of private sector retirement plans have gone from being a 401k to becoming a laughable 201k – or even worse.

Unemployment is reaching 13-percent throughout California, as businesses are fleeing a state that has saddled them with the ’solo-responsibility’ for California’s recovery.

As a whole, the Golden State is coming to a realization that government regulation has made it impossible for profitability.

And, as the private sector asks for relief, there are no rescuers coming from the public employee union members.

The conservative mantra has been ‘we need to elect someone who can add jobs’ to the state’s economy. As conservatives who believe in the merits of a free market system, to elect someone because of their promise to create jobs is a vital mistake.

We don’t want government to deliver or add jobs, we need government to provide for the private sector to make great profits. Elect politicians who do just that and the jobs will come.

The goal is more people working in jobs and making a better way of life, but the means is to deliver incentives, freedom and individualism for those who are reaching for profit to find it on their own merit, without the hurdles and burdens of government regulations or false stimulation.

Schwarzenegger should fire 560 state workers at the state's DMV...

How can 560 employees refuse to show up for work and still keep their jobs in the midst of a great recession?

Your answer: only inside of the most protected class of elitist, self-centered workforce in America - the purple-shirted state workers of the SEIU.

Due to the fact they were willing to be counted and interviewed, 560 state works for the California DMV decided that February’s emergency budget legislation was “unfair” in removing two paid holidays with Lincoln’s Birthday and Columbus Day, so they went ahead and took their Columbus Monday off in protest.

“Screw you, we’re government, we do what we want!”

Read how the rogue mentality of Obama's favored public employee union, the SEUI, encouraged 560 workers to break the law and refuse to report to work on Monday, Columbus Day.

And we thought the recognition of President Barack Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize had no merit, significance or conviction; that was until we heard of Schwarzenegger’s choice of recognition Monday.

Announced on the hidden Columbus Day holiday, California now has a fourth special day of special recognition for the citizens of the great state.

California will now celebrate the great accomplishments Harvey Milk.

Milk will be added to Muir’s natural environmentalism, the state’s poorly paid teachers’ successful achievement of 49th out of 50 states, our state flower that grows in the warm sunshine; and now the first openly gay politician who was terribly assassinated along with a San Francisco Mayor, George Mascone in 1977.

Thank you Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I'll trade Rush Limbaugh for Keith Olbermann, any day...

So the NFL Players Union has called a play in the huddle, asking for the league to refused to allow Rush Limbaugh to purchase a portion of the St. Louis Rams.

“I’ve spoken to the Commissioner and understand that this ownership consideration is in the early stages. But sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends. Our sport does exactly that when it overcomes division and rejects discrimination and hatred…”

As it stands right now, seven NFL players have publicly opposed Limbaugh’s interest in purchasing even a small portion of the Rams.

Now the union leader is asking players to begin to speak up and express their minds with the media.

Democrat Congresswoman finally holds Healthcare Townhall, and it is very, very controlled in Sacramento...

Here is a report from her Republican opposition, as he tells the story of worship, socialistic cheers and threats from the Congresswoman's staff:

This is the Townhall meeting where the school administrator threatened to have me arrested if I held my own gathering or discussion in the school parking lot. When I arrived, I walked over to the group of police and identified myself to them and asked if they had any plans to arrest me. They informed me that they had been briefed at roll call and had no such plans to do so. And furthermore the administrator was out of line for saying that to me. So I got that all straightened out before I entered the meeting room and stood with hundreds of Matsui worshippers.
