Attorney General Jerry Brown leads all opponents in the earliest of poll numbers; these results should force Republicans to change the content of their own primary or suffer a re-entry of Governor Brown to Sacramento.

For the GOP, it’s time to get to the real campaigning.

The “Moonbeam Antidote”, a candidate that can convince the state’s growing ‘decline-to-state’; independent voters that jobs are the answer to the state’s illness.

At the same time, this candidate must deliver this trust without alienating the conservative core, as Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger did after his poor performance during the 2005 initiative special election.

Read that Meg Whitman has a resume for the key ingredient for California's recovery: jobs.

The Ignored "F-Bomb" by California Democrat...

Have you seen this video? This is an elected member of the California Assembly, at a public microphone, verbally using the "f-word" to attack the governor of the state.

Moments after Arnold Schwarzenegger was out of the room, and after Tom Ammiano had tossed his "kiss my fa***t _____", and "You lie" comments with the governor present, he took to the microphone.

The Democrat fund raiser was raucous in attacks, laughter and perverse content after the Executive Office holder left the hotel room.

Read and watch this and ask yourself, "Should this type of behavior be allowed?"

The nation took Congressman Joe Wilson to task for yelling “You Lie” during a President Obama speech on Health Care in Congress. How do Democrats disagree, by staging an ‘f-bomb’ display for their party faithful.

Look, watch and listen to how Democrats treat a Republican Governor visiting their Democrat Fund Raiser in San Francisco this past Wednesday evening.

Enjoy the language of an elected representative, who uses words that I have to warn you – an adult – about before you watch the video presentation.

Willie Brown ‘asked’ the governor to stop by for a visit, to say hello to the members gathered in San Francisco for a party fund raiser, and the governor is booed, hissed, cursed at, and even shouted from the stage as he made a very short, uneasy speech to the Democrats gathered.

Where is the maturity, decorum and respect from the Democrat leadership toward the state’s Executive Office?

Here is the video

(WARNING, elected Democrats using very foul language from the podium)

Sacramento Sheriff candidate supports CCW and 2nd Amendment...

As the saying goes, “there’s a new sheriff in town”.

A new man is looking to be the next Sheriff for Sacramento County; for the fourth time in his political career, Bret Daniels is running for the top cop’s spot in Sacto County.

Today Daniels came out with ’no holds barred’ campaign rhetoric, charging that predetermined sheriff candidates are things of the past, and an establishment that operates a budget for the likes of the administration and not the citizens, nor their deputies must be changed.

Bret Daniels – a man who doesn’t shy away from the tough topics – also promised that real, law-abiding citizens will be given their 2nd Amendment rights back, without needing to feel like they have to anti-up with a contribution to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department.

What is Steve Poizner's Political Resume?

If we are tired of driving our car by looking into the rear-view mirror, maybe someone needs to change the viewpoint. We’ve talked voting records and checks to Democrats; “What can we say about Steve Poizner that should earn conservative respect for the gubernatorial primary in June of 2010?”

What can we reference to change the current discussion surrounding our gubernatorial cadidates; ‘proving a positive’ for the current Republican Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, who desires to be your choice for Governor?

For both Meg Whitman and Steve Poizner, the career political resume is thin. But there are some hooks that we can hang our conservative bonnets on as it relates to Steve Poizner.

Read Hogue's recent political activity report card for Steve Poizner.

Over the past five years I have experienced some extensive international travel to Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Senegal, and the Philippines - even into parts of China.

One of the first things you notice about these lands is the lack of ‘individual education’, and the great success of corporate government indoctrination through the school children; it’s heart wrenching.

Another video has surfaced here in America today, this time it features older school students singing about the great need for “Obama’s health care”, now.

In the song you hear the students sing with affirmation, “Obama says we need health care now.”

There is also a brazen line that smacks the name of Joe Wilson and his, “You Lie”, outburst during the Obama speech.

Though much of the song ‘attempts’ to stay bi-partisan (as if), there are lines that are nothing more than propaganda and fear-mongering beliefs about health care in the USA.

To make matters worse, the students were given celebrity airtime on CNN – no surprise there.

Folks, this may get old hat in a few years with this new administration’s hope and change direction, but it is very concerning.

One of the few things I bring back with me from government manipulated, foreign lands are the children. They are controlled, indoctrinated and extremely undereducated in the things that really matter for life, liberty and happiness.

The hardest part for me is watching them sing about their leaders, while they know that the topic of their melody is corrupt. It saddens a heart to see they fake a smile as they sing from a hollow heart.

How long until we force our school students into the same plight?

Here is today’s latest Obama Video; ask yourself these questions as you watch these kids perform and the CNN anchorette gush over a very, very weak performance.

The true end result is but a few generations removed.

Did Democrats cave and give the GOP their human water...?

California Democrats Agreeing to Two New Dams...

A dog is a man’s best friend.

For GOP lawmakers in Sacramento, they must now feel that the Reservoir Dogs Democrats are their best friends, especially when it comes to water solutions for this troubled state.

Yesterday I spoke with Senate Majority Leader Dean Florez (D-16th) about the possibilities that numerous members of the Latino Caucus who are supportive of water storage solutions, (now labeled Reservoir Dog Democrats by your friendly neighborhood talk host), are ready to help the Republicans draft a water bond that can satisfy the state’s water needs beyond the ridiculous conservation measures that fall short over the long haul.

The “water deal” includes TWO new dams and a favorite of mine, a water desalination plant for San Diego.

The 26th Amendment...

I (HOGUE NEWS Contributor Paul Smith) am co-writing this article with a conservative woman age 25. She asked that she be a ghost writer do to her sensitive position she has in her company. I can tell you she is very bright, articulate, college educated and wants to become he first woman president in the United States.

I predict she will become a rising star in the New Republican Party and will be a force in re-making the party to capture the younger generation and in reaching out to them.

For purposes of this article I will call her “Eve.”

It is young people like Eve that is willing to share her views that will hopefully get the Republican Party off the dime and help get us moving forward into reaching the younger generation.

From my friend Hugh Hewitt today; has Meg Whitman voted previously and the Sacramento Bee ignored the obvious in their reporting?

Whitman’s Camp says she voted for Reagan in 1984 and Bush 41 in 1988, as well as being registered in Ohio and Santa Clara, California.

I posted a piece earlier this week asking about Meg’s continual reference that the Bee didn’t fully investigate her voting record for their story – I actually found her comments to be peculiar:

Of Scabs and Skirts: In my post Meg said, “So the answer is that I don’t think the Sacramento Bee article is entirely accurate, but actually it doesn’t really matter because my voting record is not good.”

What a peculiar answer.

And then Hugh’s discovery today, calling into question the performance of the Sacramento Bee.

Did the Sacramento Bee offer a ‘hit piece’ on Meg Whitman? You can hear the audio of Hugh Hewitt’s conversation with Amy Chance of the Sacramento Bee: Read/Hear the report at HOGUE NEWS IN DEPTH today.
